Starting to growin spring
Weeds spreading through
Painting yore
Through the frames
Past the drought
Past the depths of time

Winter’s gone
So why, do you grow, from the vine I chose to plough?
Why, can’t I take control, over my core?
Why can’t I feel normal?
Why can’t Iet you go?

Seeds are past through generations, I don’t want to let it flow
Did our ancestors not know how fast they could grow?
Beyond their seasons
You’ll see them sprout
In any soil
Through any grout

Ensnared by the petals which have become convolved
Hypnotised by the secretion of nectar; it’s evolved!
It grows on the minds that get lured and dissolved

It’s hard to walk around the floor
covered in sticky oil
