Thank god we have an aircon, baby,
Cause summer nights are fucking hot in Brisbane
There’s not a lot to do when you’re stuck inside, but I don’t care
Cause honey, bunny - I’m having such a good time
I’ve noticed you’ve been really busy recently
Why don’t you stop by the UQ lolly shop?
I’ll meet you there on a higher frequency, in the meantime
Spread whatever sweets you want over the top
But don’t complain
When you start to feel pain
It’s just the natural way
To balance out-the day
I just don’t know what to say
I’ve felt this way since the start of the day
I’ve been hurt, severely, baby, can’t you see?
Up until this point I wasn’t thinking clearly
How have we come this far without talking?
There’s nothing substantial going on at the back of my mind
I’m sorry, for the sleepwalking
It’s the only way I can unwind
It’s the only way I can calm down
It’s the only way I can survive
It’s amazing how far one is willing to go
Just to numb the pain, but add to the sorrow
If you're wondering where rock has gone in the current day, look no further. This is raw and wild, oozing unfiltered creativity and emotion from every crevice. Taraen
The boys have done it again, and then some!
I absolutely love the unique sound these guys have - the keys play the spectrum of fun and melancholic atmosphere, distorted powerful vocals, post rock & riffing guitar parts, and energetic killer grooves.
The fine writing on it, combined with choir, strings and trumpets produce some cathartic songs.
The production is on point as well - gritty, distorted, atmospheric yet with a lot of energy and clarity.
Brilliant stuff indeed! Lion Trail
