Hitting up Wall
Losing Hope
Giving up on, everything
Hitting a wall
Can’t cope
Giving up on relationships
Where do I go, to find you?
Did you hide from me too?
Did you see inside my room?
Where do I go, to break things?
Could you repair, my broken strings?
I strum aloft my mangled violin
Smashing walls to through rooms
Just to break that goddam room too
Ignore the sounds, outside my head
That tell me they want me dead
The sounds that lead me to this dread
I can’t relinquish these ticks
Sitting on my balcony chair
Fluorescent sunlight barely strumming through
The rotting leaves and tangled wires
The grass field covered in mildew
The birds have nothing left to pursue
After the wild ride
I laughed, but I cried
These actions can’t undo
The feelings that won’t ensue
I hope I can push through
My final breakthrough
